The site
Plans were approved in late 2022 for 1,700 new homes, a primary and secondary school, and a mixed-use local centre at Top Farm, Weddington. Top Farm is providing a much-needed high quality residential-mixed use scheme in a highly sustainable location.
Top Farm is adjacent to Weddington to the west and south and St Nicholas Park to the east. The MIRA Technology Park, one of Europe’s leading locations for automotive technology and development, is located approximately 2km north-west of the site. Nuneaton town centre and the railway station are just over a 5-minute drive away.
Top Farm is providing much-needed homes and facilities for local people and is acting as a catalyst for further investment and job creation in Nuneaton and its surrounding areas.
The first phase of the development is already underway and is nearly complete, delivering 530 new homes, as well as new access roads, community open spaces and a secondary school due to open in September 2025.
We’re now consulting on our plans for Phase 2 and Phase 1ciii of the development, as part of an upcoming detailed planning application. You find out more about the next phases here.
The scheme is being delivered by “Develop Warwickshire”, a joint venture between Warwickshire Property and Development Group (WPDG), Warwickshire County Council (WCC), and developer Countryside Partnerships.
